Charrie Hazard,

Charrie Hazard holds an M.A in English
literature and teaches writing at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg,
Florida. She also has taught writing and literature at the University of
South Florida (USF) and St. Petersburg College and is a former director
of Lifelong Writers, the membership arm of the Florida Center for
Writers at USF.

She is a former investigative reporter and editorial
board member of the St. Petersburg Times, acknowledged as
one of the country’s top ten newspapers. Her creative nonfiction and
fiction have been published in literary journals, including
Sunscripts:
Writings from the Florida
Suncoast Writers' Conference,
and have won prizes from organizations such as the Mount Dora International Festival of
Music and Literature.
Charrie also
is a board member of the non-profit
Gunston Hall School
Foundation in Washington, D.C. and is a member of
The National League of
American Pen Women, Inc.
