Michael
Moscardini
is a senior editor at the St. Petersburg Times and a
1987-88 University of Michigan Journalism Fellow. His forte lies in
developing and directing special projects (in-depth, investigative
reporting) and narrative writing.

He directed and edited the special
project Last
Full Measure of Devotion, which chronicled the death of Sgt.
Paul Smith, of Tampa, Florida, who subsequently was awarded the Medal of
Honor for heroism in Iraq. The Times nominated Last Full
Measure of Devotion for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize. Moscardini also is
the owner of
Write Words, an editing service for fiction and nonfiction.
